Back in time.

Cecil Court is an alley populated with antiquarian booksellers, picture frame makers, map and art galleries. It is an urban gallery for art, history of design and literature lovers. A few moments away from the hubbub of Leicester Square, it’s a curious throw back in time. The facades of shops are yet to evolve significantly for over a century.

It is a short walkway from Charing Cross Road, in the West End of London.

It is populated with bookshops, art galleries, shops that sell antiquities: prints, maps and ceramics, as well as makers of handcrafted wood products.

In the beginning of the 20th century it was hub of the British film and theatre industry, an attractive location for start up companies across the film industry.

A look in and around Panter & Hall reveals a treasure trove of Modern British and 20th Century paintings alongside Nordic Mid Century Modern Works. As it turns out Panter & Hall by The Pall Mall. Thank you Arushi.

People, take in a view of rare posters, maps and print artefacts, by a window sill.
